Music Makers is excited to announce that we are beginning an orchestra program this summer for violins, violas, and cellos! We will start with two ensembles, intermediate and advanced, with the goal of adding a beginning ensemble in the fall. The founding members of the ensembles will retain a founders rate for both summer and school year ensembles going forward.

Intermediate Ensemble

This ensemble is for rising 3rd grade and older students who have mastered “Minuet #1”
in Suzuki Book 1.

We will work on technique, sight reading, and ear training skills in a small group setting to improve ensemble playing.

The price for current Music Makers students is $105 for the summer (7-8 rehearsals and 1 performance between June 12th-August 12th.) Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday nights from 5:45-6:30.

The estimated price for the school year is $45 per month or $160 for September-December.

Advanced Ensemble

Summer session: this ensemble is for rising 8th graders through adults who are current students of Music Makers.

We will work on chamber music to enhance ensemble skills.

The price for this ensemble is $65 for the summer (7-8 rehearsals and 1 performance between June 12th-August 12th.) Rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for Monday nights from 6:45-7:30.

The estimated price for the school year is $35 per month or $120 for September-December.
